My short is online now Feedback so far has been very good from it. Nothing negative just yet. Blown away by the feedback in fact. Someone called it 'The most ambitious student project I have ever seen'

Wow, so my short, 'Mother' is almost finished. I've been working on it non-stop for about 9 months. I have never put so much effort into anything in my entire life. Worth it? Well, the renders are looking fine so far, but if it doesn't stick during the edit then I guess it was all just a waste

So what can you guys expect soon? Well, firstly, I will post some pictures here. Then, around the 10th May, you can expect the finished thing here in dA. I decided this will be the first place I put it online because I use this community so much for inspiration. I'd love to honor them all in my credits...in fact I think I will So after that, I will be uploading a making of video. I'm in the process of planning for that...interviews with cast ect. Should be interesting. So here is hoping all goes smoothly, and that I get a job out of uni

So my short 'Mother' is starting to take place! For once things are going to plan. There is a hell of a lot of modelling to be done for this project, and I'm just trying to get to grips with some animation. But for now, all is well. I don't actually have an update to be honest, but my brain is melting to I'm giving it some time out I'm pretty excited for this!

On other notes, had a few offers to work with people after uni. A few freelance projects lined up. I will be sure to point you all towards them if you feel so inclined as to watch.

What else?...oh yeah, double figures on a thermometer. Spring is nearing

Feedback muchly appreciated

So, apparently it seems my portfolio based website has mutated into a blogging space. So I'd really appreciate some followers/opinions/input.

It's early days for now, but in the future I'll be putting my portfolio on there (obviously), plus film reviews, video related tutorials, plus some other stuff that captures my imagination enough.

You'll be able to follow my most significant projects on here too, which gives some insight into the ideas and processes that go into making a variety of different things.

So for now, I'll see you all over there. Until then, keep making cool shit! Especially videos, because there hasn't been a video DD in a while.
