@01:45yeah I saw that too. There are a few mistakes in this actually...so just look at it as a work in progress...I'm in the process of making an updated one. :)

@02:15Hey, very cool concept and look! Seems like a lot of solo work went into it. Any "glitchy looking bits" actually added to the overall mood and gritty texture of the piece, which in my opinion really work well for it.

A boy wakes after 'an event', only to find the world around him in ruin.

It is kinda half story half conceptual. It takes influence from the Russian 'FireBird' fables, with a modern take on the classic story, whilst paying homage to the original story.

For anyone who is interested, this was made in After Effects, edited in Final Cut Pro, sound in Soundtrack Pro. All elements are either drawn by me in photoshop, or compiled by me.
The city is built using Maya, and Vue to render.
The actor is my little brother, and we filmed the entire thing in my back garden- time limits meant I couldn't wait to get a screen. So the whole thing is matte rotoscoped.
So I apologise for any 'glitchy' looking bits in here!
